I have never known a dog to love his toys as much as Charlie, my ever-faithful Golden Retriever. But amidst the jumble of squeaky toys, balls, and tug toys, Charlie had a favorite—a rugged rubber chew toy. Now, if I’m being honest, it was just an indestructible, red bone-shaped hunk of rubber. Just your average chew toy. Or so I thought…

One fateful cleaning day, I found the beloved toy under the couch, a little worse for wear. It had seen better days, and honestly, was past its prime (and not doing my living room décor any favors).
