This is how it all started…

Welcome to My Dog Hates Me – where we celebrate the hilarious, dramatic, and judgmental relationship between dogs and their humans. It all started when The Owner drove past the giant, new digital billboard on Highway 33 in Howell.

The offer was incredible: Two weeks of FREE advertising on that prime piece of real estate. The catch? You had to Comment with your business name and Share the post. Easy enough, right?

But here’s the thing: The contest felt… too easy. A clever marketing trick for a brand new advertising opportunity. “There’s no way…two weeks, they’re just trying to show off the new sign!” a bit later, no brainer, dropped a comment, hit the share button, and promptly forgot all about it, chalking it up as a harmless five-second entry that would surely not yield a small, two-week spot.

“Congratulations! You are the winner of two weeks of FREE advertising on the new Highway 33 Billboard in Howell, NJ!”

Wait. The winner? Not a winner? WHOA!

Now, we have two weeks to speak directly to every commuter, shopper, and traveler passing through Howell on one of its busiest roads. This isn’t just free ad space; it’s a golden ticket to visibility, thanks to a spontaneous comment and a simple share we almost didn’t bother making! The clock is ticking—how are we going to make those two weeks legendary? Thus came to life…

We shall share stories from both perspectives: the guilty human who “forgot” to share their sandwich, and the deeply offended dog who will never forgive this betrayal.
